Wild Bird Training

We train our dogs through live woodcock, grouse, and other wild bird training drills.

Natural Environment

We train our dogs on our property, and have additional access to thousands of acres with natural grouse and woodcock cover.

Owner Victor Forsyth has been working with pointing dogs for over 20 years, allowing for premier pointing dog training.

Now Providing Winter Training in South Georgia

Clear Cut Kennels is offering training for all pointing breeds this winter in Norman Park, Georgia. Training will take place at a Quail Plantation and will be available for all levels of pointing dogs. Get your dog ready for hunting season, and sign up today!

Owner Information

All dogs will be trained in hunting situations in a variety of training grounds. We are fortunate to have many diverse private training grounds available for our use. We will take outstanding care of your dog and safety is our main concern. But, just as in human athletic competition and training, accidents and injuries are possible.

Clear Cut Kennels LLC is not responsible for any injuries, acts of God, or accidents involving your dog.

You will be required to sign a waiver and commitment form before a dog will be admitted into our program.

Outdoor 4' x 8' Kennels with an enclosed doghouse are provided for each dog free of charge. Dogs may sleep inside at night with a crate provided by the owner.

Included: Dog food, wild birds, training, boarding. Not Included: Vet trips, vet bills, fuel, purchased training birds

What should owners bring with them upon drop off?

- Dog crate for dog to sleep in at night

- Heartworm, flea, tick, or any other meds needed by your dog

- Vet waiver and waiver releasing dog to be trained

- A copy of your dog's shot records and current health certification from your vet. Heartworm preventative required!

- If you want your dog fed specific food, please bring enough food at drop off for the entire stay.
