Featured Breed Programs
While all dogs in our winter programs receive the same foundation, we customize the training plan to fit each breed’s natural ability and learning style. Puppies are also in a separate program versus the mid-level or veteran dogs.
Winter Puppy Program (Ages 2–10 Months)
Curious, confident, and ready to learn — young pups thrive with structure and gentle exposure.
We build focus through early obedience, bird work, and recall in a safe, positive environment.
German Shorthaired Pointer Program
Bold, high-drive, and eager to please — GSPs thrive on clear structure and consistent work.
We channel that energy through focused field sessions, steadiness drills, and plenty of time on good flying birds.
English Pointer Program
Known for intensity and range, English Pointers excel with repetition and purpose.
We refine their steadiness and composure through daily fieldwork on good flying birds in Georgia’s wild cover.
English Setter Program
Graceful and intelligent, English Setters shine with confidence-building repetition.
We strengthen their natural style while reinforcing obedience and steadiness around good flying birds.

Meet Your Trainer: Victor Forsyth
Hi, I’m Victor Forsyth, owner and trainer at Clear Cut Kennels.
I’ve been training pointing dogs for more than 20 years and have spent much of that time competing in walking field and cover dog trials. Watching a young dog develop into a finished bird dog is what keeps me passionate about this work.
In the winter, I bring our dogs to Georgia, where we have access to acres of wild bird habitat. This allows our dogs to continue training in a similar environment all winter long, gaining experience, exposure, and maturity that can’t be replicated indoors.
Whether you’ve got a new pup or a dog that needs polish, we’ll get them ready for your next hunting season.
